Steer’s Keep Girls in School (KGS) Scholarship Programme
Steer Initiative is pleased to announce that registration is now open for Steer’s ‘Keep Girls in School’ scholarship program. Steer Initiative as an impact-accelerator in the digital and educational sector supports the education of youth and girls, empowers teachers, and creates tailored initiatives for marginalized communities. Given the prevailing and disturbing statistics of out-of-school children around the world especially in Nigeria, and the impact of the covid-19 outbreak on education, Steer Initiative has launched the ‘Keep Girls in School’ (KGS) program to provide full funding for secondary school girls who are at risk of dropping out of school.
Eligibility
Intending scholars must:
- Be a female
- Have an excellent academic performance
- Be currently enrolled in a secondary school
- Be resident in Nigeria
- Demonstrate a serious need for funding.
